We Started on the Docks

AirFly was born in 2019, not in a boardroom, but on the docks of San Francisco Bay. We were crabbers first, not businesspeople. After years pulling pots, testing gear, and dealing with equipment that wasn't built for real conditions, we knew we could build something better. So we did.

Built for the Water, Not the Shelf

Every trap, snare, and gauge we make gets tested in real conditions. Cold mornings. Rough water. Strict West Coast regulations. We don't guess. We go out there and prove it season after season before anything carries the AirFly name.

Our crab traps are patent pending, designed from scratch by crabbers who know what actually works on the water. Our claw bands are made in the USA by an FDA-certified manufacturer, so what touches your catch meets the highest safety standards.

From San Francisco to the Pacific Northwest

We design and test our gear on some of the best Dungeness crabbing waters in the country: San Francisco Bay, the Oregon Coast, and Washington's inland waters. If it works there, it works anywhere.
