- About 5 oz per snare. Use a rod and line rated for the full loaded weight, including bait. We recommend an 8–10 ft rod and 50 lb braided line.
- 6 self-opening loops open on the bottom and tighten as you reel in steadily.
- Lead-free, vinyl-coated weight and 16-gauge coated steel wire for saltwater.

How to use
Put bait in the cage, cast, and let the snare settle on the bottom. When you're ready, reel in slowly and steadily so the loops tighten. Measure every crab with the gauge, and follow your local size limits, bag limits and license rules.
