- THREE WEIGHTED CRAB BAIT CAGES: Includes three compact cages for multiple setups or spare bait holders. Each measures 4 x 2 x 1 inches and weighs 5 oz, including its own built-in 2 oz lead-free weight. Weights and dimensions are per cage.
- HOLD BAIT WHILE SCENT SPREADS: Each cage’s 0.5-inch mesh contains larger pieces of squid, fish or chicken while allowing scent to disperse. Cut bait to fit the compact cages and secure each lid before use.
- FITS MULTIPLE CRABBING SETUPS: Use inside suitable crab pots, hoop nets and ring nets, with throw lines, or as alternative bait holders on AirFly Trans traps. Secure each cage to a suitable mounting point with your own ties or clips.
- BUILD YOUR OWN SIX-LOOP TRAPS: Pair each cage with a separately sold AirFly clear replacement loop kit. Optional AirFly 6 oz weights add ballast when needed. Each six-loop kit equips one cage; loops, separate weights, crimping tools and fishing gear are not included.
- COATED WIRE AND SIMPLE LATCHES: Black vinyl-coated steel wire with hinged lids, elastic closures and metal hooks makes loading and changing bait straightforward. Rinse with fresh water and dry after saltwater use.
The AirFly three-pack provides weighted crab bait cages for multiple crabbing setups, DIY traps or spare bait holders. Each vinyl-coated steel cage measures 4 x 2 x 1 inches and weighs 5 oz, including its own built-in 2 oz lead-free weight. The three cages weigh 15 oz in total; dimensions are per cage.
Load each cage with larger pieces of squid, fish or chicken cut to fit. The 0.5-inch mesh lets scent disperse while containing the bait. Open the hinged lid to load the cage, then secure the elastic closure and metal hook before use.
Mount the cages inside suitable crab pots, hoop nets or ring nets, use them with throw lines, or fit them to AirFly Trans traps as alternative bait holders. To build six-loop castable traps, pair each cage with a separately sold AirFly clear replacement loop kit. Each kit equips one cage. Optional AirFly 6 oz weights add ballast when needed.
Includes three bait cages only. Snare loops, additional weights, traps, mounting ties or clips, crimping tools and fishing gear are not included. Rinse with fresh water and dry after saltwater use.
